Thurs, Fri, Sat, July 17,18,19:  The Summer Music Festival at Roseberry, another great year of music in the heart of the valley! Bands for Thursday night (locals night) are Mountain Samba, Glennkelly, Cheap Tacos, Jimmy Bivens, Hat Shop Band, And Equaleyes; Friday night is Elephant Revival and Cadillac Sky. Saturday night is Reid Genauer & Adam Terrel, and Hot Buttered Rum. Check out the new Festival site that has info about the new permanent stage, artists booked, dates, tickets!

**NEW**Fri, Sat, Sun, July 24-26, July 30-31, Aug 1-2: "Moomingpappa at Sea" local playwright Judy Anderson has adapted for the stage this book by children's author Tove Jansson, who is popular in Scandinavia and Great Britain, won the Hans Christian Anderson Award for children's literature contributions; Alpine Playhouse 7:30pm, $6,  tickets at McCall Drug

Fri, Sat, Sun, July 25, 26, 27:  Brundage Mountain Jam II,  expanded for this second year to 3 days of camping, music, art and fun!  6pm Friday to 4pm Sunday, quite the  line-up, plus a Sat night and Sunday morning surprise, locals/lightweights' 1-day Saturday only ticket ($30), all-event ticket ($50) online purchase includes camping fee, admission to all art, music events

**UPDATE**Saturday, July 26: Artists in Action Series: Mary Anne Romney in the Courtyard of the Bistro 45 Wine Bar & Cafe , local author and artist Mary Anne Romney will conduct "BUGS BUGS BUGS" - for kids only; an Introduction to the Art of Illustrating Insects,   Mary Anne is the author of the "Where's that BUG? The Big Adventure Story Book" for children, filled with vivid insect and plant illustrations and close-up photographs, all taken in the McCall area. Children ages 5-12 are welcome  1 hour workshops, beginning at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 2:00 p.m. Seating is limited; Call to reserve space at (801) 440-0383 or drop by Saturday. Voluntary contributions of $7.00 are accepted for supplies. Saturday, July 26:  The Idaho Artists' Celebration of Charlie's Garden , artwork of Idaho artists displayed in the full colorful summer glory of Charlie's Garden, a fundraiser for the McCall Arts and Humanities Council,  in the magical venue of Charlie's Garden, a private botanical garden on the banks of Payette Lake; commemorative wine glass, wine tasting, and hearty appetizers. Funds raised support arts education and public art.  5:30-8pm, Tickets $50 by reservation (315-2617) or at McCall Drug or Mtn Monkey Business
